OA₁ wedge-shaped spiral grate is a new type of equipment developed by our company through absorbing and assimilating advanced foreign technology and combining the specific actual situation of water treatment projects in our country, which is suitable for fine grates in urban sewage treatment plants and is a new product that integrates the functions of interception, collection, transportation and pressing of waste.

The device consists of a circular wedge basket with a series of circular grate plates as the grate surface, which is installed in the channel at a 35°angle to the horizontal plane. When the sewage flows from the end of the grate into the grate basket, the filter residue larger than the grate gap is intercepted and deposited on the inner surface of the grate basket. The toothed scraper is driven by a motor to rotate and scrape the filter residue to the top of the grate basket and fall by gravity. At the same time, the motor reverses and drives the toothed scraper to reverse. The retained residue falls into the residue collection trough through the cleaning plate, and after being conveyed, squeezed and dehydrated by the central screw, the residue falls into the material box or conveyor through the discharge port for external treatment.
