AGF Shallow Medium Filter
Purpose
The AGF fully automatic shallow filtration system is composed of multiple standard high-speed sand tank units with unique water distributors and collectors inside, featuring a unique bidirectional automatic backwash valve that enables individual backwashing of each standard high-speed sand tank during normal system operation, with fully automatic program control, which has the advantages of low backwash water consumption, convenient equipment installation and easy operation. The device has large flow rate and requires no maintenance. There are such two series as vertical and horizontal type depending on different user requirements, being suitable for water quality treatment in industrial and domestic circulating water systems. Structure and working principle
The product has a compact structure and a high degree of automation. Its unique structure enables the outflow water turbidity to be below 0.5NTU and the impurity filtration accuracy to reach 5 microns. The equipment can be backwashed automatically, and the product not only performs well but also has low operating costs.
Forward filtration status:
When the system is in the filtering state, the unfiltered water is evenly distributed through a unique water distributor developed by itself, and the water flows laminar through the packing layer (refined uniform quartz sand/garnet) inside the filter. As the water flows through the packing layer, impurities are retained within it. There are multiple evenly distributed water collectors at the bottom of the filter, which collect the filtered water evenly and lead it out. Cross-flow filtration enables the filter to filter at a high flow rate and still achieve a good filtration effect.
Backwashing status:
As impurities keep accumulating in the packing layer, the internal head loss will keep increasing. When the inlet and outlet water pressure head losses reach the set value, the system will automatically activate the constant pressure device to switch it to the backwash state. When this backwash is completed, the hydraulic valve changes the water supply direction to achieve backwashing of each unit one by one, which makes it easier to clean the accumulated impurities.
When the system is in the backwash state, the filtration continues, therein, the standard unit sand tank to be backwashed does not filter, while the other standard unit sand tanks in the system are still filtering. Part of the filtered clean water is used to backwash the standard unit sand tank, and the rest is sent to the user. Backwash wastewater is discharged through the backwash drain of the hydraulic valve. In the high-speed sand tank fully automatic high-efficiency filtration system, the special collector design enables the fillers to rub against each other, maximizing backwashing efficiency, reducing the required backwash water (washing water), and without material loss during backwashing. A standard unit sand tank is backwashed for 2 minutes. When the backwashing is completed, the head loss inside the standard unit sand tank is reduced to a reasonable range, the constant-pressure device gives a recovery signal, the hydraulic valve returns to the filtering state, and the next standard unit sand tank is ready to enter the backwashing state.
