CF Rotary Solid-Liquid Separator

Purpose

The CF rotary solid-liquid separator (also known as the rotary grate separator) is an advanced water treatment solid-liquid separation device, which is mainly used at the inlets of urban sewage treatment plants, residential area sewage pretreatment units, municipal rain/sewage pumping stations, waterworks and power plant cooling water, etc. The equipment is also widely used in water treatment projects in various industries such as textile, printing and dyeing, food, aquaculture, papermaking, brewing, slaughterhouse and leather making, which is an ideal solid-liquid separation device in the water treatment industry.


Structure and working principle

The device is of rotary type, consisting of a special shape of plow-shaped rakes arranged in a certain assembly sequence and quantity on the horizontal axis to form a rake teeth chain, which is assembled into different gaps according to the water flow rate and installed at the entrance of the pumping station or water treatment system. When the drive device moves the rake chain from bottom to top, the debris in the water is lifted by the rake teeth chain and the liquid flows through the gaps. When the equipment rotates to the top point, the rake teeth chain changes its direction of movement from top to bottom, and the materials fall off the rake teeth by its own weight. When the rake teeth turn from the reverse side to the bottom of the equipment, another cycle reciprocates continuously, thus constantly removing debris from the water and achieving the purpose of solid-liquid separation.


Main features

1. The drive device is driven directly by cycloidal pinwheel or helical gear reducers, featuring low noise, compact structure and smooth operation;

2. The frame is an integral frame structure with strong rigidity, easy installation and low daily maintenance workload;

3. Two specifications of rake teeth, rake teeth pitch of coarse grate t=150mm, rake teeth pitch of coarse grate t=100mm;

4. The equipment is easy to operate, and the operation of the equipment can be directly controlled locally/remotely;

5. To prevent accidental overload, it is equipped with dual protection of mechanical shear pin and overcurrent, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment;

6. When the width of the equipment is ≥1500mm, in order to ensure the overall strength of the equipment, the parallel connection form will be adopted.
