MGS Type High-Efficiency and Rapid Clarifiers
Purpose
The MGS high-efficiency and rapid clarifier is mainly used in the treatment systems of acid-base wastewater, boiler wastewater, and boiler pickling wastewater in power plants, the pretreatment of high-turbidity water in municipal water supply projects, and the clarification and separation treatment of high-concentration sediment-laden water in sewage treatment plants. It can quickly and effectively remove high-concentration suspended solids and organic matter from water. The removal rate of suspended solids can reach over 95%, and the sludge discharge concentration is 2% - 4%. Especially when treating water from dry sandstone washing and grinding, the effluent can achieve the effect of recycling.
Structure and working principle
The water inlet and outlet mode of the clarifier is top-in and top-out, and the bottom is for sludge discharge and sludge circulation. Multiple sight glasses are installed on the sludge hopper at the bottom of the equipment as required to observe and measure the sludge volume.
After the raw water with added chemicals undergoes a mixing reaction, it enters through the flow stabilization trough at the upper part of the equipment and then flows into the lower cone of the equipment along both sides of the tank. It passes upward through the combined packing area from the cone. The combined packing with a special design is different from that of ordinary clarifiers in terms of height and installation angle, which is more conducive to the separation of mud and water and accelerates the precipitation of sludge. The water outlet of the equipment collects water through a special water channel at the upper part, making the water outlet flow rate uniform, reducing turbulence, and achieving the treatment effect. The upper part of the clarifying tank is a sludge collection hopper with a large angle to ensure smooth sludge discharge and a high sludge discharge concentration. The reflux is mixed with the influent water, which can quickly contact and adsorb the impurity particles in the raw water, achieve rapid separation of mud and water, give full play to the role of the coagulant, and improve the clarification efficiency.
Main features
1. Adapt to raw water turbidity (suspended solids content) below 3000mg/L. At the maximum raw water turbidity, the turbidity of the coagulation and sedimentation effluent does not exceed 100mg/L.
2. The overall structure of the equipment and the design of the internal combined packing are reasonable, effectively reducing the floor area of the equipment and facilitating operation and maintenance.
3. The equipment runs without mechanical stirring, has good hydraulic conditions, and has high efficiency in coagulation, sedimentation and clarification of high-turbidity water.
4. It can run intermittently or continuously, with stable performance and no noise during operation.
5. A dedicated operating platform and escalator are provided to facilitate the operation, maintenance and overhaul of the equipment.
