DL Stacking Screw Dewatering Machine

Purpose

The new generation of sludge dewatering equipment with filter cloth (belt), clog-free, wear-resistant and low energy consumption---the stacking dewatering equipment, has already gotten rid of such technical difficulties as large floor space of sludge dewatering equipment, inability to handle low concentration sludge and difficulty in handling special sludge containing oil.

The main body of the stacking screw sludge dewatering machine is a solid-liquid separation device composed of moving fixed and moving rings and a through screw shaft. The solid-liquid separation is divided into two sections: the concentration section and the dewatering section. The sludge is pushed by the screw shaft to be compressed and dewatered, and the water seeps out from the gap between the moving fixed and moving rings. The distinctive feature of this machine is that the movement of the moving ring to the fixed ring is driven by a special drive device of the screw shaft to prevents the filter components from friction and wear and greatly extends the service life of the whole machine.


Structure and working principle

The core part of the stacking screw sludge dewatering machine is a group or several groups of filtration units consisting of a screw drive shaft, multiple fixed and moving plates. Each group of filter units consists of two parts: the concentration section and the dewatering section. From the sewage inlet of the concentration section to the sludge cake outlet of the dewatering section, the pitch of the screw shaft gradually decreases, and the gap between the fixed ring and the moving ring also gradually decreases. Back-pressure plates are provided at the sludge outlet to regulate the pressure inside the spiral cavity. The stacking screw sludge dewatering machine completes the concentrating and dewatering of the sludge in one cylinder, replacing the traditional filter cloth and centrifugal filtration methods with a unique and delicate filter body pattern.

Concentration: As the screw drive shaft rotates, multiple fixed and movable plates set outside the drive shaft move relative to each other, and water is filtered out through the gaps between the relatively moving plates under the effect of gravity, achieving rapid concentration.

Dewatering: The concentrated sludge moves forward with the rotation of the screw shaft; Along the direction of the sludge cake outlet, the pitch of the screw shaft gradually decreases, the gap between the rings also gradually decreases, and the volume of the screw cavity continuously shrinks; Under the effect of the back-pressure plate of at the outlet, the internal pressure gradually increases. Under the continuous rotation of the spiral push shaft in sequence, the water in the sludge is squeezed out, the solid content of the filter cake keeps increasing, and finally the continuous dewatering of the sludge is achieved.

Self-cleaning: The rotation of the screw shaft drives the moving ring to keep turning, and the equipment achieves a continuous self-cleaning process by moving between the fixed ring and the moving ring, thus ingeniously avoiding the clogging problem that is common in traditional dewatering machines.
