ZPB Rotary Disc Aerator
Purpose
The ZPB type disc aerator is suitable for the Orbal oxidation ditch process in the biochemical treatment of urban sewage and various industrial wastewaters, providing oxygenation for the water body in the oxidation ditch.
Structure and working principle
This device is a horizontal shaft surface aeration device. Each disc is composed of two semi - circular discs connected to the main shaft by flanges and evenly arranged on the main shaft. The surface of the disc is densely covered with trapezoidal bumps, circular pits and ventilation holes. When the driving device drives the main shaft to rotate and the disc starts to rotate, it fully stirs, pushes and mixes the sewage. Due to the special surface of the disc, the amount of air brought into the water body can be increased, and the bubbles can be forcibly divided evenly, thus greatly improving the oxygenation capacity.
Main features
1. The driving device uses a vertical outdoor motor and a conical cylindrical gear reducer. The gears have hard tooth surfaces, featuring large bearing capacity, compact structure, small size, light weight, and stable operation.
2. An elastic pin gear coupling is used, which can transmit large torque, has a small size, allows a certain radial and angular error, and is easy to install.
3. The discs are made of reinforced polypropylene or high-strength lightweight fiberglass by compression molding, with advantages such as high strength, corrosion resistance, good rigidity, and good heat resistance.
4. The tail uses a self-aligning bearing and a floating support, which can overcome installation errors, automatically align, compensate for the expansion and contraction of the rotating disc shaft caused by temperature differences, and ensure normal operation.
5. The load and oxygenation capacity of the turntable can be changed by adjusting the immersion depth, which is simple and easy to implement.
