Project Introduction:

This project is an expansion project. The original 10,000 m³/d uses the "hydrocyclone grit chamber + hydrolytic acidification + CASS activated sludge process + high-efficiency sedimentation tank + denitrification deep-bed filter + contact disinfection" process; the newly added 20,000 m³/d uses the "aerated grit chamber + hydrolytic acidification + combined A2/O + high-efficiency sedimentation tank + denitrification deep-bed filter + contact disinfection tank" process; after treatment, 400 m³/d of the effluent is reused, and the remaining 29,600 m³/d is discharged. The COD, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus of the tailwater are discharged into the Taoxi River after meeting the requirements of the "Discharge Limits of Main Water Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants and Key Industrial Sectors in the Taihu Area" (DB32/1072—2018) standard.
